Claudine Rhode born in Cape Town, completed Primary and High School in Manenberg. Further tertiary through Protea College was sponsored by bursaries from TECSA, School Principal and family. In 1999 just after the Tornado in the community of Mannenberg she volunteered as Secretary at the Parish of Reconciliation in Mannenberg to address the needs of those affected by the Tornado. The Church was then given support by the Social Development arm of the Diocese of Cape Town under the leadership of Ms Delene Mark and Rev Mark Walker. Her work in social development was sparked by this involvement. In 2000-2001 she volunteered at the Social Development Office of the Cape Town Diocese in the Director’s Office assisting in Finance and Administration.

In 2002 she joined AK KHATIEB and Associates to do in-service training in Financial Management. My duties at Khatieb and Associates were to do VAT/ PAYE/UIF/SDL and debtors and creditors as well as the accounting work for different clients big and small. In 2003 she joined Hope Africa as the Bookkeeper; in 2004 she was appointed as Financial Administrator dealing with Company Administration and Managing Payroll/Company Secretarial updates and dealing with auditors directly. Over the years she has gained extensive experience in the Financial Management value chain, her interests include Spiritual and Prophetic Dancing and she is extensively involved in Young People’s Ministry.
